บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจสถานการณ์การอนุรักษ์สายน้ำ วิเคราะห์บทบาทของผู้เกี่ยวข้อง และหาแนวทางการอนุรักษ์สายน้ำแบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวของชุมชนริมน้ำในพื้นที่อ่าวบ้านดอน โดยใช้การวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี ด้วยการเก็บแบบสอบถามจากประชาชน 400 คน และการสัมภาษณ์แกนนำชุมชน แกนนำการท่องเที่ยว ผู้แทนภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนในพื้นที่จนข้อมูลอิ่มตัว ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ประชาชนในชุมชนริมน้ำมีส่วนร่วมในการอนุรักษ์สายน้ำฯ ในภาพรวมและรายด้านทั้งการวางแผน การดำเนินงานและการประเมินผลอยู่ในระดับน้อย ส่วนด้านการรับผลประโยชน์อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีบทบาทในการอนุรักษ์สายน้ำฯ ในภาพรวมและรายด้านทั้งการดูแลรักษาและป้องกันสายน้ำ การแก้ไขปัญหาสายน้ำ การฟื้นฟูสายน้ำและการพัฒนาสายน้ำอยู่ในระดับน้อย ทั้งนี้ ควรสนับสนุนให้ประชาชนมีส่วนร่วมและมีบทบาทดังกล่าวมากขึ้น เป็นเจ้าภาพหลักในการอนุรักษ์สายน้ำร่วมกับแกนนำชุมชนและแกนนำท่องเที่ยวโดยอาศัยการสนับสนุนของภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนทั้งในและนอกชุมชน
