The paper examines the concept of corporate responsibility to respect human rights under the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights: Implementing the Protect, Respect, Remedy Framework (UNGP). It focuses on human rights due diligence (HRDD), and supplies chain control in the Thai construction industry, particularly the issue of labour protection in Songkhla Province. The paper argues that applying the HRDD and supplied chain control according to the UNGP will solve human rights violations of migrant workers in the construction industry because it will address the problems and create cooperation among the businesses and stakeholders based on the business relationship for assessing the human rights risks and human rights impact assessment in the industry.
