Improving Law of Witness Protection in Human Trafficking Cases

The study finds out that Thailand is still facing several problems on witness protection program´s execution such as the problem about the structure of Witness Protection in Criminal Cases Act B.E. 2546: The Act states that other government agencies apart from Witness Protection Office can also execute general measures on witness protection, although these general measures are only about harm prevention which is actually the task of police officers. When the Act states that general measures can be performed by other agencies, the measures will then be implemented by unskilled and unexperienced agencies. Moreover, the criteria on implementing special measures on witness protection are incomplete.
