Review Process
In considering manuscripts for publication, the Editorial Board of Thammasat Law Journal shall undertake the following steps:
(1) Authors submits the manuscripts into the system. The receipt of manuscripts will be sent to the authors;
(2) Conduct initial screening of manuscripts and inform authors of the decision.
(2.1) If manuscript pass the initial screening stage, they will be eligible for further consideration in the
next stage.
(2.2) If manuscripts are rejected in the initial screening stage, they will not be considered for publication.
(3) Assign at least two referees who are experts on the subject to review manuscripts and notify authors that manuscripts are under peer review.
(4) Referees review manuscripts (Peer Review) and classify them into one of the followings:
(4.1) Accepted for publication without any revision
(4.2) Accepted for publication with revision
(4.3) Not accepted for publication
(5) Review the format of manuscripts and inform authors of the decision
(5.1) If manuscripts are “accepted for publication without any revision” and comply with the formatting requirements, they will be eligible for further consideration in the next stage.
(5.2) If manuscripts are “accepted for publication with revision.and/or do not comply with the formatting requirements, they will be eligible for further consideration in the next stage after authors have made the required revision.
(5.3) If manuscripts are “not accepted for publication”, they will not be considered for publication.
(6) Evaluate manuscripts for publication and inform authors of the decision. This process of evaluation will be conducted four times per year in March, June, September and December.
(6.1) If manuscripts are accepted for publication, they will be published in the journal in chronological order (which will be later designated). In any case, the Editorial Board reserves the right not to publish manuscripts in the future.
(6.2) If manuscripts are accepted for publication with revision, they will be published in the journal in chronological, which will be later designated after authors have made such revision. In any case, the Editorial Board reserves the right not to publish manuscripts in the future.
(6.3) If manuscripts are not accepted for publication, they will not be published. (7) Publish manuscripts and send three copies of the journal to each author.
(7) Publish the manuscripts.
