The Comparison Differences of the Potential of Agrotourism Management of Homkhajorn Farm at Suphanburi Province Classified by Demographic Factors

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: study the management potential of
an agro-tourism destination of Homkhajorn farm and compare the differences of
the potential of agrotourism management of Homkhajorn Farm at Suphanburi province classified by demographic factor. The quantitative research was applied for this research. The population and sample were consisted of 400 respondents from
Suan Dusit University personnel, students, tourism business operators. tourists, communities, and government agencies. The research tool was a questionnaire set. The statistics used were mean, standard deviation, percentage, t-test and One-way analysis of variance.

          The results showed that level of opinions about the management potential of an agro-tourism destination of Homkhajorn farm, Suphanburi province at a high level in every perspective in terms of 1) Organizational management structure and tourist attraction development plan. 2) Setting up a systematic area management plan. 3) Safety management for tourists. 4) Waste management in tourist attractions. 5) Acceptance. and cooperation with surrounding communities 7) Conservation of natural resources and the environment 8) Maintenance of public utilities and resources Tourism 9) Sales promotion Add value and develop agricultural products and 10) Advertising and public relations of tourist attractions and the differences of  tourist demographic characteristics had different levels of opinion towards
the management potential of an agro-tourism destination of Homkhajorn farm, Suphanburi province with the significance level of 0.05 in every aspects such as gender, age, level of education, and occupation; except, the income aspect did not.
