Conservation Of the Handicraft Lanna Wisdom in the Ban Tawai Community by Using Multimedia

This research aimed 1) to develop multimedia to present learning resources for the conservation of the handicraft Lanna wisdom in Ban Tawai community, and 2) to evaluate satisfaction of multimedia. The sample group in this research is 147 students in Ban Tawai community, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. The research instruments consisted of 1) multimedia presenting learning resources for the conservation of handicraft Lanna wisdom in Ban Tawai community and 2) multimedia satisfaction evaluation form. Analyze data using mean and standard deviation. The research found that 1) Presenting media in the form of multimedia consisted of texts, images, animation, audio and video. There are 5 steps of creating the multimedia, namely analysis, design, development, trial and evaluation. There were 3 short films, namely “Ban Tawai, the lively handicraft”, “the craftsman (Salah)’s way of life” and “From generation to generation”. The films were about the history of the community including the way of living of Ban Tawai community. 2) The average satisfaction of multimedia was 4.18, which is at the level of high satisfaction.
