Publication Ethics in the Community and Social Development Journal :
Ethics Role: Authors, Reviewers, Editors, Publisher
Ethics Role: Authors
   1. The journal requests the author of the article to certify the submitted academic article, that was a new one by the author of the article. Did not copy other people's academic article. No copyright or intellectual property infringement, and has never been published anywhere before. If any of the above actions are detected, it is the responsibility of the author of the article for copyright infringement.
   2. The submitted articles must not be in the process of submitting to other journals for considering of publication. If the above actions are detected, the editorial team may cancel the article
   3. The journal requests you to write the correct research articles. Based on the format of the journal set out in the author's instructions.
   4. The journal requests the author of the article to cite both the text and the end of the article when refer to the work of others. If copyright infringement is detected, it is the sole responsibility of the author of the article.
   5. The author of the article whose name appears in the article. Everyone must be a real participant of doing research that subject.
   6. Authors must consider and agree on the order of all authors, and provide a clear list at the time of initial submission. Editors will consider adding, deleting, or rearranging authors after initial submission only in exceptional circumstances. All authors must agree to such additions, deletions, or rearrangements.
   7. Corresponding authors are responsible for including all co-authors and acknowledgements. Authors are also responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the article and agree to submit.
   8. Articles must be written in English and must not contain defamatory or libelous content.
   9. If there are research funding sources, specify the source of funds as well.
   10. If there is any conflict of interest. The journal requests the author of the article to describe the conflict of Interest as well.
   11. Articles that related to human or animal research. Should be considered by the Ethics Committee. The proof of certification must be attached with the article, which sent to the editor. If there is a complaint about an ethical infringement, and the editors had considered, that there is a real infringement. The author of the article must cancel the article.
   12. The articles are published in " Community and Social Development Journal " is owned proprietary right of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University.
   13. Avoid fake references (by GenAI)

Ethics Role: Reviewers
   1. The article reviewers must not have interests with the author of the article.
   2. The article reviewers must maintain confidentiality, and do not disclosed the information of the article to unrelated persons during the assessment of the article.
   3. Must not seek the advantages from the articles they had reviewed.
   4. They must realize that they are an expert, knowledgeable and understanding of the content of the article being evaluated.
   5. If an article is found to be similar or duplicate, article copying other work. The reviewers must immediately notify the editor of the journal with clear evidence. The article reviewers must maintain an evaluation period. According to the assessment time frame set by the journal.
   6. Avoid using AI to evaluate articles.

 Ethics Role: Editors   
   1. Journal consultants are responsible for the considering policy recommendations in operation for the Community and Social Development Journal.
   2. Journal editor is the center and the main editor for considering and reviewing articles. Consider consistency of the article content with the aims and scopes of the journal. Including review and assessment quality of the articles before publication.
   3. A journal editor is a group of people who act as a working group of editors. Responsible for considering and reviewing articles. Consider the consistency of the article content with the aims and scopes of the journal. Including review and assessment quality of the articles quality before publication.
   4. Editorial's responsibilities to the authors of the articles and assessors
       4.1  Do not disclose the information of the authors of the article and reviewers to anyone else.
       4.2  Review and reject the publication of articles previously published elsewhere.
       4.3  Required using the principles of considering articles based on academic reasons, and there must not be bias to the authors of the articles and the articles that considered in any case.
       4.4 There must not have interests with the authors or reviewers. Either for business advantages, or for their own academic articles or other advantages.
       4.5 Check plagiarism of other people's academic work in the article. If plagiarism is detected, the article review process must be stopped, and contact the author of the article for clarification. To accept or reject the publication of the article.
       4.6   Check the journal article assessment process as a secret. It is fair and without bias.
       4.7  Published articles that passed the assessment process from the article reviewers only.
       4.8 The article contents and evaluation results of the article reviewers must not be modified or changed.
        4.9  The processes and procedures of the journal must be strictly followed.

Ethics Role: Publisher 
   1. The publication process should not be influenced by commercial interests, such as advertisers or sponsors. Advertising or promotional content should be clearly distinguished from peer-reviewed articles to avoid confusion.
   2. Publishers are responsible for implementing a transparent and fair peer review process. This includes ensuring that the selection of reviewers is impartial and that the review process is handled with confidentiality and integrity and should provide clear guidance and resources for reviewers and editors to maintain high standards in the peer review process.
   3. Publishers must have clear policies and procedures for handling allegations of ethical misconduct, such as plagiarism, falsification of data, or conflicts of interest. These policies should align with guidelines provided by organizations like the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
   4. Publishers should establish clear ethical guidelines for authors, reviewers, and editors to follow, including rules about plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and data sharing.
   5. Publishers must ensure that advertisements within journals or publications do not compromise the ethical and quality of the content and the editorial process should remain independent of any commercial interests.

Ethical Concerns in Human or Animal Subjects
Ethical oversight : Articles that related to human or animal research. Should be considered by the ethics committee. The proof of certification must be attached with the article, which sent to the editor. Intellectual property : Reviewers must respect the intellectual property of the authors and must not use any information from the manuscript for their own research without permission from the authors.
Ethical Consideration : Ethical Concern Reporting Section to Journal provides a confidential e-mail for reporting ethical concerns. Authors, reviewers, and readers can submit their concerns or observations related to ethical issues by contacting the editorial office.   Community and Social Development Journal is a journal to support research for community  in the field of social sciences, established guidelines and publication ethics, publish articles for the operation of the journal published correctly. As part of the journal's commitment aligns its practices with the guidelines and recommendations of leading organizations in academic publishing, including the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Process for Dealing with Research Misconduct
Post-publication Corrections
     A retraction of a published article may be initiated by the editors of the or by the authors of the article.
     The journal and its editors follow the guidelines according to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standard, which means that the CSDJ journal and its editors will consider retracting a publication in the following cases:
     It is proved that the publication contains unreliable findings, either as a result of major errors, fabrication, or falsification of data. It is proved that the publication constitutes plagiarism, or the findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper attribution to previous sources or permission to republish. It is found that the publication contains material or data without authorization for use. Unethical research or research misconduct has been reported. The authors have failed to disclose any conflicts of interest or failed to obtain agreement for publication from any other researchers involved in the research process.
     If a publication is retraction, CSDJ journal and its editors will take the following actions: Issue a clear retraction notice on the CSDJ journal website, including the title of the article, the authors' names, and the reasons for the retraction. Notify the highest authority of the authors' affiliated organization about the retraction. Prohibit the authors of the retracted article from publishing with CSDJ journal for a period of 5 years.
Conflicts of interest :   Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that might affect the interpretation of their results. This includes financial, personal, or professional relationships that could influence their research.
Data integrity :  Plagiarism Checking: The journal uses the “CopyCatch” plagiarism detection tool. If the manuscript has a similarity index of more than 25%, we ask the author to make corrections. Failure to make corrections may result in the manuscript being rejected, which is the end of the review process.

Ethical Guidelines for Using AI in Academic Writing
   1. Manuscripts prepared with use of generative AI in all steps must be done with caution. The AI generated contents must undergo thorough review and careful editing and are recommended to explicitly disclose in the manuscripts during the peer review process, and will appear in the published version. Full responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the AI generated contents belongs entirely to all authors.
   2. Authorship and Accountability: Authors are personally accountable for the accuracy, originality, and validity of all content, including any material generated or assisted by AI tools. AI and AI-assisted technologies do not meet the criteria for authorship.
   3. Permitted Use: Authors may use AI to improve language clarity and readability. Using AI for minor language editing, grammar correction, or structuring is permitted, provided the output is overseen and heavily edited by a human.
   4. Prohibited Use: Relying on AI to generate core ideas, literature reviews, or to fabricate and interpret research findings is strictly prohibited. Citing AI-generated text as a primary source is also prohibited. AI tools cannot be credited as authors because they lack accountability for the integrity, originality, and validity of research work. AI tools must not be listed as authors.
   5. Data Privacy and Security: Authors must ensure that patient data, confidential peer-review information, or unpublished manuscripts are never uploaded to open-source AI tools, as this may violate patient privacy and intellectual property rights.
   6. Eproducibility: Authors must provide sufficient documentation, artifacts, or non-AI baselines to enable the independent replication of any AI-assisted research step.
   7. Mandatory Disclosure: Authors must disclose all AI usage even for minor language editing or writing polish within the dedicated manuscript section.
   8. Consequences: The CSDJ journal reserves the right to issue a correction, erratum, or retraction if undisclosed or non-compliant AI usage or integrity gaps are discovered.
