Morality Base on Suffi ciency Economy Philosophy with the Community Economic Development in Chiang Mai Province
The objective of this research is to study the suitable types of morality base on sufficiency economy philosophy in order to apply in the management of community business, Chiang Mai province. The research method is to make the understanding of the phenomena by rational and analysis systematically. It is the qualitative research and collect the data by the participatory action meeting with 32 groups of community business in 24 district of Chiang Mai in order to get the conclusion by content analysis technical and bring the result to use with the prototype of community business groups.
The result of study is that there are 5 suitable types and characteristic of morality base on sufficiency economy philosophy to apply in the management of community business; 1) honesty; 2) lack of greed; 3)patience; 4)diligence and 5)generosity. All of these morals will be expressed through physical, verbal and mental of both group leaders and members. These five morals will thereby be applied in the management of the five prototypes of the community business groups consisting of agricultural business, processed food, handicraft industry, garment and tourism community business groups totally 10 groups of community business in Chiang Mai. This will create the guideline to adjust and apply to use all of these 5 moralities with business and make the sustainable sufficiency for communities.
