Development Individualized Education Program by Participation with Stakeholders for Special Needs Child : Disabilities and Human Resource Development Center Faculty of Education Chiangmai Rajabhat University
The objective of this study were to analyse learning and health problems of special needs children. Developing Individualized Education Program by the participation of stakeholders. And testing the effectiveness of the Individualized Education Program. Data were collected by using questionnaire, work shop, group discussions and experiment. The samples are 8 students with special needs in the early intervention class Disabilities and Human Resource Development Centre, Faculty of Education,Chiangmai Rajabhat University. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.
The results showed each samples had different learning and health problems and development. in various fields. Making an Individualized Education Program with stakeholders got the real information about the special needs child. The participation very important to make goals and to objectives of the Individualized Education Program , which consist of General Information, Education Information, Goals Achievement, Tools–Services–Assistant in education, Individualized Education Program team and parents,s Agreement.
The effectiveness of an Individualized Education Program found that after using an Individualized Education Program the development scores of 8 students with special needs were increased in every skills, gross–motor skills, small muscle skills, language skills, self-help , social skills and academic skills as percentage 53.2, 41.2, 30.1, 64.2, 24.8, 62.7, 34.5 and 33.3.
