Abstract
The purpose of this study was to study the need of Mahasarakham Library Network (MALINET) Public Relations. The study was conducted through questionnaire, and the data were collected from 586 undergraduate/graduate students and lecturers from seven institutions of this network. The data were analyzed and presented by descriptive statistics. The results showed that only 27.82% of the sampling know about MALINET, when considered in each perceive of this service, which sorted from high to low, there was library staff/librarian (25.68%), pamphlet (22.96%), social media (12.08%). In case of the respondents who did not use MALINET because they did not know about MALINET (52.25%) and inconvenient to use (47.75%). The interesting point of the need of media relations found the respondents who did not know about MALINET need to get MALINET’s information from library staff/librarian (52.39%), pamphlet (51.99%) and social media (48.21%).
