Literary Studies, Literary Criticism, and the Reflection of 4.0 Modern Thailand of Third Year Students Enrolling in English Literature and Society subject at University of Phayao

Abstract
This research aims to categorize topics of 4.0 Modern Thailand in pieces of literature criticism reflected by 280 students, the 3rd year students, enrolling in English Literature and Society subject at University of Phayao and analyze reflection of students’ views on the selected literatures under the theme of 4.0 modern Thailand. The research is conducted with the theory of Audience Response Criticism which emphasizes the readers’ points of view rather than the authors’ or the literature’s content. The results show that in terms of literature themes, there are 11 themes presented in the literary pieces of work selected by all students as followings; 1. Family and materialism themes are mostly interested at 15.21%. 2. The second interesting theme is bullying which shows at 13.04%. 3. Social values and violence themes are at 10.86%. 4. Literary works about social classes, genders and effects of technology are at 8.69%. 5. The themes of politics are at 4.34%. 6. For the themes of economics and drugs, they are the least topics at 2.17%. In terms of students’ reflection on those selected literary works, it shows that mostly
