Creating a Japanese for Tourism Class for Fostering Thinking Skills and Media Literacy -Suggesting class activity using ChatGPT-

Abstract
This is reflective qualitative research on the Japanese for Tourism course provided at Ramkhamhaeng University in the 2nd semester of 2022 by the author. The author reflects on post-course student surveys, other research on Japanese for Guides, and from the perspective of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). As a result, found out that improvement in the instructional material presentation was required, and that there is a need to introduce Japanese history to compare Thai history, and consider class activities to foster intellectual skills, interpersonal skills, and media literacy. Furthermore, this paper explores the class activity to foster these skills by utilizing ChatGPT in the Japanese language classroom.
