บทคัดย่อ

Abstract

For most students, writing is an arduous task and having to use a foreign language is truly an added difficulty. From my teaching experience in Thailand, I have found that students lack inspiration and can hardly come up with interesting ideas when trying to write a composition in Spanish. As a teacher, my task is to encourage them and to spur them on in creativity. During a writing subject for third year students, to help them get inspired and improve their writing skill, I showed them cartoons in Spanish based on classic children’s tales, and comics by a Latin America author, as sources of inspiration.

It is also important to note that the students really put forth their best effort when I let them know that  what they were about to write would not end up in the teacher’s drawer, but it would be read by other students who would use them to practice reading skill. They actually became more motivated as they realized that they were creating reading resources for first year students.

Besides, to recognize their efforts and to make this activity more challenging, a children’s

story writing contest was held as part of the writing subject, whereby prizes were awarded to the teresting ideas when trying to write a composition in Spanish. As a teacher, my task is to encourage them and to spur them on in creativity. This article gives details of how a project was organized in order to motivate students to write in Spanish, as well as analyzes and reflects upon its objectives and results.

บทคัดย่อ

การเขียนเป็นงานที่ผู้เรียนส่วนใหญ่มักประสบปัญหา โดยเฉพาะการเขียนที่ต้องใช้ภาษาต่างประเทศ จากประสบการณ์การสอนภาษาสเปนในฐานะภาษาต่างประเทศในประเทศไทย ของผู้เขียน พบว่า นักศึกษายังขาดแรงจูงใจและแทบจะไม่สามารถสรรสร้างแนวความคิด   ที่น่าสนใจสำหรับงานเขียนในภาษาสเปนได้ ในฐานะผู้สอน มีภาระที่ต้องรับผิดชอบคือการส่งเสริมและกระตุ้นผู้เรียนให้เกิดความคิดสร้างสรรค์ การช่วยให้พวกเขาได้รับแรงจูงใจและพัฒนาทักษะการเขียน ผู้เขียนได้ใช้แหล่งความรู้ที่ช่วยในการสร้างแรงจูงใจโดยใช้สื่อการ์ตูนภาษาสเปน   ทั้งนิทานสำหรับเด็กที่รู้จักกันทั่วไป และการ์ตูนของนักเขียนชาวอเมริกาใต้ประกอบการเรียน การสอนวิชาการเขียนของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3

ประเด็นสำคัญอีกประการที่ควรทราบคือผู้เรียนจะใช้ความพยายามอย่างดียิ่งหากผู้สอนแจ้งให้พวกเขาทราบว่างานของพวกเขานั้นจะถูกนำไปให้ผู้เรียนคนอื่น ๆ ได้ใช้เพื่อฝึกฝนการอ่านด้วย ไม่ได้เก็บไว้ที่ผู้สอนเพียงคนเดียว เช่นนี้แล้วผู้เรียนจะมีแรงจูงใจในการเขียนเรื่องที่จะกลายเป็นแหล่งความรู้ให้กับผู้เรียนชั้นปีที่ 1 ได้อย่างดีด้วย

นอกจากนี้แล้ว เพื่อเป็นการประชาสัมพันธ์งานเขียนดังกล่าวและสร้างความน่าสนใจให้ กับกิจกรรมการเขียน และเป็นการตอบแทนความพยายามของผู้เรียน จึงได้จัดให้มีการจัด การประกวดการเขียนเรื่องสำหรับเด็ก ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของรายวิชาการเขียน โดยงานเขียนของผู้เรียนถูกส่งเข้าประกวดเพื่อหาผู้ชนะสองผลงานที่ดีที่สุดและจะมีการจัดนิทรรศการให้ผู้เรียน  คนอื่น ๆ ได้รับทราบในภายหลังอีกด้วย

บทความนี้ได้กล่าวถึงรายละเอียดและวิธีการดำเนินงานของโครงการสำหรับการสร้างแรงจูงใจในการเขียนงานเป็นภาษาสเปนให้กับผู้เรียน รวมทั้งการวิเคราะห์ การสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงวัตถุประสงค์และผลการดำเนินงานด้วย
