Labour Flexibility, Manpower Efficiency, Cost Reduction and Risk Management affecting the Outsourcing Management in the Ordnance Material Rebuild of Royal Thai Army

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study 1) the level of the labour flexibility, manpower efficiency, cost reduction, risk management, outsourcing management, in the Ordnance Material Rebuild of Royal Thai Army 2) the relationships between the labour flexibility, manpower efficiency, cost reduction and risk management have affecting the outsourcing management in the Ordnance Material Rebuild of Royal Thai Army. The quantitative research part by simple random sampling comprise was conducted among 334 of government officials who were on their sample used duties at the repairing and producing military care factory, middle managers of enterprises, and artisans from 20companies.. Data were collected by using questionnaires, statistics used for data analysis were descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling analysis. The samples used for qualitative research was comprised of 8 key informants who were chief executives from both Army and enterprises, and the information was collected by in-depth interviews. The results of the study revealed that : 1) the level of government officials who were on their duties, middle enterprise managers and artisans were at high 2) the structural equation modeling analysis indicated that the labour flexibility, manpower efficiency, cost reduction, risk management had truly affected the outsourcing management. Furthermore,         the quantitative analysis was in accordance with the literature review and qualitative analysis.          The sample group agreed that labour flexibility, manpower efficiency, cost reduction and risk management, affecting the outsourcing management in the Ordnance Material Rebuild of Royal Thai Army.
