Development of patterns for affecting the Efficiency in tracking missing children

Abstract

This research aims to study the development of the mechanism of law, administration and network monitoring on the effectiveness of missing child tracking. The research has addressed the qualitative method which employed 15 organizations related to missing child tracking; 11 from the police division, 3 from non-police division and 1 private sector. The researcher collected the data by interviewing the opinions from the aforementioned groups. However, the interviews were conducted in a casual way. Also, the researcher applied the purposive sampling to select the organizations that are involved in the missing child monitoring.  The analyzed data was discovered that most opinions from the management level were in the same direction. It was claimed that the protection welfare of the missing children needs the mechanism of law, information sharing and efficient decision making. Furthermore, the administration requires the decent human resource and data base. The network monitoring also needs supports from both public and private sectors. More importantly, the utmost effective child missing tracking requires efficiency and qualified plans.

This research explored that human trafficking together with forensic science has been a crucial mechanism of law to assist finding the missing children. Making decision and giving helpful information are also great participations from the locals and anyone involved. Apart from those factors; however, each sector should develop their human resource to be able to work on this issue more effectively. It is advised to build an information administration center or the national tracking center for missing people, so they can be connected nationwide. Moreover, it is suggested that private sectors should be involved as well in order to support the news promotions and make a better and effective tracking for missing people. The agents should be applicable, experienced, able to efficiently analyze the facts and conduct accurate plans for their tracking. That is to say that decent plans will lead good understanding and competent participations for the whole procedure.
