Abstract

This research purpose was to 1) study the knowledge of fabric designs of
“Khid”; local silk fabric Nong O Sub-district, NongWua So District, UdonThani. 2) Create
interactive media knowledge transfer in fabric designs of “Khid.” 3) Study the operation
skill in the weaving of youth in Nong OSub- district, Nong Wua So District, Udon Thani.
Sample size was composed of 36 people who had main and part time jobs
from the list of Khid silk’s Ban Sri Chomchuen weaving group, district development
officer of Nong Wua So District and the youth who participated in “Youth improvement
skills to preserve and inherit local wisdom project” by using purposive sampling. The
tools used in the research were composed of: 1) unstructured interview form; 2)
quality of interactive media evaluation form; 3) interactive media knowledge transfer in
fabric designs of “Khid”. The statistics in this research were percentile, mean and
standard divisions.
The result of research found that: 1) the pattern of Khid was the most suitable
in beginners that were compose of striped fabric 4 heddles, flower glass pattern 8
heddles, scorpion pattern 8 heddles, bullet wood pattern 12 heddles, and Kratom
Thong pattern 12 heddles. 2) The result of development of interactive media in fabric
designs of Khid found that the youth could design and weave Khid. From interactive
media evaluation forms by experts in the criteria, the greatest quality level had a mean
at 3.99. 3) Operational skill in weaving by youth in design pattern and weaving Khid
fabric-by testing from weaving fabric had more than 50 percent who could order
accuracy from the most to least collective operation were the glass pattern, striped
pattern, Kratom Thong pattern, bullet wood pattern and scorpion pattern.
