Abstract

                     The aims of this research were to study the organizational commitment in the organization to compare and analyze the factors affecting organizational commitment. The sample population consisted of 315 personnel of the ranger regiment (unit 42). Questionnaires were used as a tool for data collection. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, F-test, and multiple regression analysis showed that personnel have a high commitment towards the organization ( ). The hypothesis also found differences in gender, age, marital status, hierarchical ranks, work period, and salary defined different level of organizational commitment, while differences degree of education and position did not infer different level of organizational commitment. Regression analysis of job characteristic, security and progress, success in job, and responsibility affected personnel commitment at 59.0 percent.
