Development of Funeral Flowers made from Rice Husk: Case studies of Bang Ta Chong community in Buri District Singburi Province

Research development of funeral flowers made from rice husk for the purpose of making use of the chaff by making mourning flower products and transferring the knowledge to the target group. The results revealed uses of rice husk for making flowers and mourning products from rice husk. All seven experts have commented on the appropriateness of the clay formulas that will be used to create mourning flowers from rice husks. There are five formulas, with the third formula the most suitable (x ̅ 4.44) at a high level. Due to the soft texture of the soil, it can be molded and not stick to the hands before drying. Flexibility – the texture of the soil is very sticky. It can be kneaded into a homogeneous texture without separating. In balance, it forms well and does not shrink. There are no cracks and the color of the texture is natural. The experts then select the characteristics of flowers that are suitable for the wreath. These include Mass flowers. Experts choose lilies (42.85%), followed by cattleya orchids (28.57%), and extra flowers. Experts also choose roses (42.86%), secondary Down, Plumeria flowers (28.57%), and filler flowers. Experts choose Dok Kaew (28.57%). For flowers suitable for funerals, many experts choose roses, Plumeria flowers (42.86%). For filler flowers, experts choose (57.14%), followed by grass flowers (28.57%). Choices can be easily made. These are well-known among the general public, producing three types of wreaths and three types of funeral flowers. Knowledge transfer of the flower products from the rice husks to the target group in Bang Tachong Enterprises and some people in InBuri District, Singburi province. A total of 50 people were interviewed in order to expand the knowledge from the research. This allows the community to earn more income from the use of local waste materials. The goal is to create innovative products. The target group is satisfied with this product. Overall is at the highest level ( x ̅4.50). The satisfaction with the research project arrangement overall is at the highest level ( x ̅4.67), as is product satisfaction ( x ̅4.64).
