Social Capital and Human Security Affecting the Effectiveness of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

           The research purposes were: (1) to study the effectiveness levels Of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nakhon Ratchasima Province; (2) to analyze the social capital and human security affecting the effectiveness of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nakhon Ratchasima Province; and (3) to purpose the guidelines for developing the effectiveness of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This was the quantitative and qualitative research. The population was the people aged 18 years and over who was eligible to vote in the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations area in Dan Khun Thot District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The quantitative research sample group was the 400 people, and the research instrument was the questionnaire; the quantitative research sample group was the 20 people, and the research instrument was the in-depth interview form. The data analysis statistics were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.

             The research findings were: (1) the effectiveness of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nakhon Ratchasima Province found the overall was at a high level; the descending mean were the aspect of open model (flexibility), the aspect of reason-goal model, the aspect of human relationship, and the aspect of internal process models, respectively; (2) the social capital and human security in the aspect of intellectual and cultural capital, the aspect of employment and the aspect of income Institutional funding and the aspect of religious and cultural aspects affected the effectiveness of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nakhon Ratchasima Province at the statistical significance level .05; and (3) the research finding had the recommendations for Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nakhon Ratchasima Province to apply knowledge from individuals and local wisdom to benefit the community, such as creating careers for the people to have sufficient income to live their lives, have stability, and promote the inheritance of wisdom to remain sustainable.
