Wisdom of South Asia: Maulana Tariq Jameel, Preacher of Islamic Peace Ideas

Abstract

South Asian region is not only the place of renowned philosophers, religious scholars, spiritual leaders and wisdom center of preachers, but also the root of world religions, the nursery of scholars and the cultural center of eastern thoughts. Wisdom of South Asian scholar is the heritage of eastern thought and the station to spread knowledge to other part of the world.

This article was not studied under the covering of Geo-Politics but attempt to speak and promote the universal of Islamic doctrine which can use and active in every part of the world. South Asian region is the station of conflict and reconciliation for many centuries, but Islamic thought is easy to preach within the region. The author attempts to study specially about the ‘preaching approach’ and promoting about ‘living idea in plural society’ as well as the presenting of ‘inner peace ideas’ which is based on Islamic doctrine within many centuries of conflict and violent situation. Maulana Tariq Jameel is not only the renowned Islamic peace preacher and spiritual leader of South Asia, but also one of the world’s 500 most Influential Muslim. The main purpose of this article is opening the gateway of people’s mind to get to know his beautiful inner peace idea.

The study found that the preaching approach of Maulana Tariq Jameel has influenced on the people’s mind than each other (i) his preaching concentrated about the ‘spiritual inner revival’ and turned the people’s spiritual weakness to Islam (ii) his preaching is very comfort and soft-advice (iii) his speech is very excellent communication skills and hospitality (iv) he used a good languages and smart words (v) his preaching is powerful and hypnotize (vi) expressing by speaking talent and professional express (vii) he is very clever scholar, good knowledge both of Islam and contemporary world (viii) presenting with easy words and contemporary issues (ix) preaching by poets, quotes, religious doctrines (x) preaching with dual-conversation and make the participates happy and easy to understand through comparative method (xi) his daily life is simplicity (xii) he is a leader by actions and shows the prophet’s life to each other (xiii) presentation by stories and histories for motivation and inner peace (xi) preaching is not only support the self-correction and consciousness, Islamic moderate and preventing the extremism, but also doing well with ‘smile and forgiveness’ and respect others without religious and belief frontiers.
