This survey research aimed to 1) study the service-oriented leadership of school administrators; 2) compare the levels of service-oriented leadership of school administrators as classified by school size; and 3) study the guidelines for development of service-oriented leadership of school administrators. The research sample consisted of 340 government teachers obtained by stratified random sampling based on school size, and 8 school administrators. The employed research tools were a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire with reliability coefficient of 0.825, and an interview form. Data were analyzed and processed by a statistical package program. Data were analyzed with the use of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, analysis of variance, and content analysis. The statistical significance value was pre-determined at the .05 level. The research results showed that 1) both the overall and every specific aspect of service- oriented leadership of school administrators were rated at the high level, with the specific aspect receiving the top rating mean being that of the guiding ethics, followed by those of the development vision, sustainable society, and interpersonal relationship, respectively; 2) the government teachers working in schools of different sizes differed significantly in their opinions on the personal relationship aspect of the service-oriented leadership of school administrators at the .05 level of statistical significance, with school administrators of large schools having higher leadership level in such aspect than that of school administrators of extra-large schools; and 3) the guidelines for development of service-oriented leadership of school administrators were the following: the understanding and appreciation of two-way social communication value, the use of group information for creating of development concept, the creation of various learning processes, and the creation of the network culture for sustainable learning.
