THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE PERCEPTIONS OF RISKS IN SEXUAL BEHAVIOR, BIG FIVE PERSONALITY FACTORS, EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT AND RISKS ENGAGING IN SEXUAL BEHAVIOR OF STUDENTS IN RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the perceptions of risks in sexual behavior, big five personality factors, emotional quotient and risks engaging in sexual behavior of students in Rajabhat University, Rattanakosin sector. Who were weekday undergraduate students in the second trimester of the B.E. 2559 (C.E. 2016). The sample group was derived from simple random sampling were four hundred. The data collected by a set of questionnaires with eight sections. Instrumentations used were 1) the Perceptions of risks in sexual behaviors questionnaire, 2) the emotional quotient questionnaire, 3) the big five personality test, and 4) the sexual risks behaviors questionnaire. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaires were 0.846, 0.869, 0.920, and 0.938 respectively. The research results were as follows: perceptions of risks in sexual behavior was positively correlation with risks engaging in sexual behaviors. Big five personality and emotional quotient was negatively correlation with risks engaging in sexual behaviors. All results were significant difference at .01 level. In which neuroticism in big five personality was positively correlation with risks engaging in sexual behaviors, while extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness were negatively correlation with risks engaging in sexual behaviors.
