Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) to study the 21st Century skills and the technological leadership of school administrators; (2) to study the correlation between the 21st Century skills of school administrators and the technological leadership of school administrators; (3) to create a predicting equation of the 21st century skills affecting the technological leadership of school administrators; and (4) to propose guidelines for school administration by using the technological leadership of executives. The samples were 297 teachers from schools under the Office of Pathum Thani Primary Education Service Area 2 during the academic year 2022, obtained by proportional stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire and an interview form. The statistics used for data analysis were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis.


The research findings revealed that (1) the overall 21st Century skills and technological leadership of school administrators were rated at the high level overall opinion was at a high level; (2) the 21st Century skills correlated positively with technological leadership of school administrators, which was significant at the .01 level; (3) three factors of the 21st Century skills could predict technological leadership of school administrators at the .01 level of statistical significance with the predicting power of 80 percent. The predicting equation was as follows: Ẑ = 0.232 (ZX3) + 0.312 (ZX4) + 0.267 (ZX5); and (4) the guidelines for school administration were as follows: the school administrators must adjust their vision to cope with the changing situation; they develop themselves to be media and digital technology literate and do not violate the laws; they must procure sufficient quality modern information technology for use in educational institutions; and they must apply modern technology to develop the organization to be ready for the practice to achieve true success.
