Quality of Public Infrastructure Services of Tha Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province

The Tha Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization continues to face challenges in providing effective public services that align with public service principles, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, complaint handling, and developing an efficient organizational information system. This mixed-method research aimed to: 1) assess the quality of public infrastructure services provided by the Tha Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, 2) compare perceptions of public infrastructure service quality based on personal factors, 3) examine how public infrastructure services affect overall service quality, and 4) propose guidelines for enhancing public infrastructure service quality. The quantitative research sample comprised 400 residents of the Tha Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization area. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The qualitative research sample consisted of 12 key informants, with data collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed that: 1) the overall quality of public infrastructure services was rated at the highest level; 2) individuals with different personal factors held significantly different opinions on public infrastructure service quality, with a statistical significance level of 0.001; 3) public infrastructure services significantly influenced service quality at a statistical significance level of 0.01; and 4) proposed improvements included the recommendation for the organization to regularly conduct training workshops for personnel to enhance service quality.
