Factors Related to Sweet Corn Production of Farmers in Bang Krathum District Phitsanulok Province

This research aims to study: 1) The factors Related to Sweet Corn Production of farmers; and 2) The problems and recommendations regarding sweet corn production. The study was population consisted of 248 sweet corn farmers registered with the Department of Agricultural Extension in Bang Krathum District, Phitsanulok Province, based on farm registration data for the year 2024. A sample size of 153 farmers was determined using Yamane's formula with a .05 margin of error, selected through simple random sampling. The confidence level was found to be 0.987. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and as well as Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The findings revealed that: The factors related to sweet corn production of farmers included: Education level, which showed a significant correlation at the .05 level. Experience in growing sweet corn, sweet corn growing area, and labor used in sweet corn production, which related to sweet corn production of farmers significant at the .01 level. And farmers had problems with production overall at a high level, with an average of 3.62. The most problematic area was the factors of production, with an average of 3.86, followed by the production side with an average of 3.85 and agricultural extension methods with an average of 3.17. Suggestions from farmers. Knowledge should be added to increase the efficiency of sweet corn production. To plan production systematically.
