งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษานัยซ่อนเร้นและการนำเสนอความรู้สึกนึกคิดที่เป็น“ความสุขใต้จิตไร้สำนึก” อันเชื่อมโยงกับ
สำนึกรักมาตุภูมิในภาพยนตร์ควีนส์ ออฟ ลังกาสุกะ-ปืนใหญ่จอมสลัด ผลการศึกษาพบว่าแก่นเรื่องของความกล้าหาญในการปกป้อง

This research studied the implications and representation of “jouissance” that was connected with
appreciation for the motherland as seen in the film “Queens of Langkasuka”. The findings revealed that the
film theme, which concerns bravery in protecting the city and motherland, was represented as “double” roles
- mother and wife, and son and husband. These types of relationship reflected “jouissance” that surprisingly
controlled main characters’ thoughts and feelings, including love and protection for their mothers and wives
along with their goal in protecting the city and motherland. The concept, literature technique as well as plot
powerfully highlighted the movie theme.
