Work Efficiency of Village Headmen in Phetchaburi Province

Abstract

The study examines the work effectiveness of village headmen in Phetchaburi Province. The aims are to assess their overall performance and to analyze the impact of various personal aspects on their efficiency. The research used
a sample of people aged 18 and over, from Phetchaburi Province, chosen using accidental sampling. A five-point rating scale questionnaire served as the study tool. The data were examined using statistical techniques, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-wat analysis of variance, and the LSD test.

            The finding demonstrate that the public generally regards the job effectiveness of village headmen in Phetchaburi Province as high. The most highly regraded part of their performance is communication, followed by their job obligations. The element with the lowest rating is village development.

            The hypothesis testing finding indicate that individuals in Phetchaburi Province, differentiated by age, education level, and employment, had considerably varied attitudes about the job effectiveness of village headmen. The differences are statistically significant at the 0.05 level, consistent with the study hypothesis. Nonetheless, there are no substantial disparities in view attributed to gender or monthly income. This indicates that these variables do not affect the assessment of the job efficiency of village headmen in the province.
