Factors Affecting Violated Traffic Laws Behaviors of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus Students

Abstract
The purpose of this research were to examine: 1) Level of the behavior of the traffic law violation and factors 2) the relationship between factors and the behavior of traffic law violation of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus Students and 3) the factors related to the behavior of traffic law violation of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus Students and. The research population was 375 undergraduate students who drive to the university. Multi stage Sampling was used to select the sample. The research instrument for data collection was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis to predict factors related to the behavior of traffic law violation.
The result revealed that: 1) the respondents’ behavior of traffic law violation was at a low level and the factor level was between moderate to high level 2) the respondents’ behavior of traffic law violation and factors had a positive and negative relationship at the 0.01 level of significance. When each factor was taken into account, the respondents' conduct of breaking traffic laws was related to their Knowledge factor, Driver performance factor, Safe driving awareness factor, Negative experience of driving and Negative attitudes of traffic safety 3) regarding factors related the behavior of traffic law violation, these were Negative experience of driving and Negative attitudes toward traffic safety. These two factors could be used to predict the respondents’ behavior of traffic law violation at the percentage of 32.1
