Management of Learning Thai as a Foreign Language of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Nanjing Tech University Pujiang Institute People's Republic of China

Abstract
The objective of this article aims to describe the management of work-based learning for Thai language instruction at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Nanjing Tech University Pujiang Institute, People's Republic of China. The curriculum consisted of an educational basis based on work, which concentrated on classroom education. Besides, the students obtained working experience in the actual operating site. The results found that 1) the curriculum included a practice session for every year of university enrollment reflecting the students’ Thai language speaking ability in a short period by simulating virtual reality 2) Thai language students would be granted to receive internships in CP ALL and its Subsidiaries where Chinese students with Thai language proficiency were highly sought after. Thus, it made the curriculum management team aware of the need of using the curriculum as a guide for preparing students to fulfill the demands of Chinese society, particularly the likelihood that these students will be highly qualified for employment.
