THE ATTITUDES OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS TO WARD THE COMPETENCY TRAINING OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION STUDENTS, SANTAPOL COLLEGE

Abstract
The aims of this research were 1) to investigate the attitude of school administrators towards teaching internship’s competency of coaching students in early childhood of Santapol College, 2) to investigate the guidelines to enhance teaching internship’s competency of coaching students. This research was carried out with 79 school administrators which were obtained by purposive sampling because the 79 coaching students went to an internship there. The instruments used for collecting the data were a questionnaire with five rating scales and a checklist. The statistics used for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and descriptive analysis method.
The findings of this research found that: 1) The attitude of school administrators towards coaching students found that: The attitude of school administrators towards coaching students was in ‘much’ level ( = 4.27, S.D. = 0.71) in overall and individual aspect. The ability in classroom based research was in the highest level (
= 4.56, S.D. = 0.64), followed by teacher characteristics (
= 4.43, S.D. = 0.65). However, ability in teaching was in the lowest level (
= 4.10, S.D. = 0.70) 2) The competency promotion guidelines for coaching students in early childhood of Santapol by learn how to coordinate and seek community cooperation, learning resource, and various wisdom, the school will facilitate.
