ADMINISTRATION OF CHARTER SCHOOL

Abstract

The purposes of administrating schools with the status of a legal person under the Office of the Basic Education Commission are to enhance school autonomy, to strengthen their management and administration in
a smooth and agile manner in accordance with the National Education Act. These purposes can be achieved by four-pillar administration, namely 1)  Academic administration by focusing on curriculum development, various quality and standard processes with clear indicators as well as good cooperation from all sectors, 2) Budget management by focusing on developing and enhancing efficiency in budget management according to standards, 3) Personnel administration by focusing on developing personnel to achieve full potential according to professional standards, and lastly 4) General administration by focusing on operations and facilitation for students, modernizing an organization under the proper innovation and technological applications, supporting the cooperation of educational management of individuals, communities, organizations, agencies, and other related social institutions. In other words, the guidelines for administrating schools with the status of a legal person are efficient and reflect  the commitment to educational development.
