The Development of Quality Assurance Administration Model in the Basic Educational Institutions under Primary Educational Service Area in Government Inspectorate Area 13

Abstract

This research objectives 1) to study the condition of quality assurance administration within basic education institutions; 2) to develop a model for quality assurance administration within basic education institutions; and 3) to examine the usefulness and feasibility of the developed model. The research processes were 1) to study the condition of quality assurance administration within 8 educational institutions with best practices by selecting 2 specific places in each province, a total of 16 informants who were school directors and heads of internal quality assurance provided the information through the structured interview; 2) to develop the quality assurance administration model in basic education institutions and assess its suitability  by  group discussions consisting of 7 experts; 3) to validate the usefulness and feasibility of model, the samples were 102 people obtained by stratified random sampling in 17 educational areas, 3 in each district according to the size of schools

The results showed that 1) The condition of quality assurance administration within basic education institutions was planned, organized implementation and organizational control for using in the administration of quality assurance in basic education institutions; 2) Quality assurance management model within basic education institutions under the Office of Primary Educational Service Area in the 13th Administrative Inspectorate Area that was developed was appropriate at the highest level (  = 4.88)  and was helpful at the highest level (  = 4.81) and the possibility was highest level ( = 4.70).
