Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to investigate participation in school administration under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, and 2) to compare participation in school administration under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, categorized by school size

and work experience. The sample group consisted of 316 school administrators and teachers selected using the Stratified Random Sampling method. The tool used in this research was a closed-ended questionnaire, which included checklist and rating scale questions divided into 5 levels, with the index

of consistency between the questions ranging from 0.60 to 1.00 and an overall confidence level of 0.88. The statistical methods used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-Test, and One-Way ANOVA.

Results revealed that 1) The overall level of participation in school administration under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 was rated as high. When considering each aspect individually, it was found that all aspects were rated highly, with personnel management receiving the highest rating followed by academic administration, budget management, and general  administration, respectively.

2) The comparative analysis of participation levels in school administration under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, categorized by school size and work experience, revealed significant differences. School size and work experience both showed statistically significant differences in the level of participation in school administration at a significance level of .05.
