TEACHING BEHAVIOR OF SCIENCE TEACHERS IN EDUCATION PROGRAM IN SCIENCE TO DEVELOP CREATIVITY

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the learning management behavior of general science teachers in science courses to develop creativity. The sample group used in this research is 3 general science lecturers. Conducted research during the second semester of the academic year 2015. The tools used for data collection were observation notes, learning management, and learning management practices to promote creativity. Collected data of the instructor according to the teaching hours of the science course 2 times per person. Analyze data by considering percentage values ​​and categorize them according to the definition of learning management guidelines to foster creativity.


The results of the research revealed that two out of three teachers showed teaching behavior that promotes creative thinking in line with the established definition which is a combination of various techniques And Learning management focuses on students' participation in activities and expressing opinions. Techniques found are question-based techniques that encourage students to practice imaginative thinking and open-ended questions for Give learners the freedom to answer, use scenarios in conjunction with other nick techniques such as Drawing, Using questions, Predicting answers ,Creation of invention and Experiment. In addition, demonstrations were used in conjunction with the use of scientific equipment.
