A Study of Learning Outcome of Foreign Language Learning Area on Number Unit of Primary 1 Students in School of Roi-Et Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Using the Activity Package with 2W3P Method

Abstract
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research were to 1) compare learning outcome of foreign language learning area on Number unit of the Primary 1 students with the criterion using the activity package with 2W3P method in aspects of achievement, English language skills, group process skills, discipline, and satisfaction. 2) compare learning outcome of foreign language learning area on Number unit of the Primary 1 students using the activity package with 2W3P method in aspect of achievement before and after learning. The samples in this study were seventeen students of the Primary 1 students of Bandongbangpikul School in Roi-Et Primary Education Service Area Office 1, there were selected by using simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of 1)8 instructional plans with its’ quality in 4 aspects; appropriateness, accuracy, consistency and feasibility were at high level, 2) the activity package with 2W3P method with its’ quality in 4 aspects; appropriateness, accuracy, consistency and feasibility were at high level. 3) The measurement and evaluation from consisted of (1) the English achievement test with its’ index of item objective congruence at 1.00 all items, difficult index was 0.24 to 0.75, discrimination index was 0.21 to 1.0 and the reliability was 0.85. (2) the English language skills evaluation form, group process skills evaluation form and discipline evaluation form with its’ index of item objective congruence were 1.00 all items, the appropriateness of criterion score and the judgment criterion score were high level, the average was 3.00. (3) The satisfaction evaluation form with its’ index of item objective congruence were 1.00 all items. The data was analyzed by using percentage, means, standard deviation, t-test for the one sample and t-test for dependent sample. The results of the research showed that: 1)The learning outcome of foreign language learning area on Number unit of Primary 1 students were as follows; Aspects of achievement, English language skills, group process skill, discipline and satisfaction after learning were at high level and all aspects were higher than criterion at the level of statistically significance 0.05. 2) The comparing of the learning outcome of foreign language learning area on Number unit in aspect of achievement of students after taught by using the activity package with 2W3P method was higher than before at the level of statistically significance 0.05.
