The Development of Indicator for Supervisor Competency to Promote Learning in the 21ST Century

Abstract

The objectives of this research aimed to 1. develop the indicator for supervisor competency to promote learning in the 21ST century, 2. verify the congruence of structural relationship of indicator for supervisor competency to promote learning in the 21ST century model, and 3. develop the manual of indicator for supervisor competency to promote learning in the 21ST The research procedures consisted of 3 phrases: 1) developing the indicator for supervisor competency to promote learning in the 21ST century by interviewing 12 experts, 2) verifying the congruence of structure  relationship of indicator for supervisor competency  to promote learning in the 21ST century model, and 3) developing the manual of indicator  for supervisor  competency to promote learning in the 21ST century by a workshop with 18 experts. The research findings indicated that The results of the development of indicator for supervisor competency to promote learning in the 21STcentury consisted of 7 components and 21 indicators. The results of the congruence of structural relationship of indicator for supervisor competency to promote learning in the 21ST century model showed that  the congruence of the causal model of supervisor  competency to promote learning in the 21ST century according to hypothesis and empirical data. The development of manual of indicator for supervisor competency to promote learning in the 21ST century found that the manual was appropriate, congruent, and infallible.
