Production Process and Knowledge Management of Bor Sang Umbrella Productivities of Community Enterprise San Kamphaeng District, Chiangmai Province

Abstract

This research is a study of knowledge management for production community enterprise of Bor Sang, San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province. The objective is to study knowledge management for Bor Sang community enterprise, San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province. This research used qualitative research methods through in-depth interviews and group discussions with Bo Sang community enterprise. The results of Bo Sang umbrella-making craft revealed 3 main steps as follows: 1) Raw material management procedure 2) Umbrella assembly process and 3) Pattern drawing process. The results of the knowledge management process of Bor Sang community enterprise groups revealed 3 main steps as follows: 1) Raw material management by using local wisdom, 2) Production management through specific knowledge and expertise, and 3) Management of local arts and uniqueness
