Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the quality of online learning based on active learning in web-based instruction design and development course for students in the Faculty of Education, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, 2) to study the effectiveness of online learning, 3) to compare the academic achievement of students before and after learning by using online learning, and 4) to study the students’ satisfaction towards by using online learning. The research instrument comprised of online learning based on active learning, questionnaires, and achievement test. The samples consisted of 8 experts, and 66 students. The statistics used were mean, standard deviation, t-test dependent, and course efficiency test based on Meguigans. The research results were as follows:     1) the quality of the online learning based on active learning by experts was the most holistic appropriateness (mean=4.54 and the standard deviation=0.32); 2) the effectiveness of online learning reached 1.39 which was higher than Meguigans standard value at 1.00; 3) the learning achievement of students after studying online learning was significantly higher than before studying at 0.05 level; and 4) the students' satisfaction on online learning exhibited the high level of the holistic appropriateness (mean=4.18 and the standard deviation=0.71).
