The Administrative Model towards Excellence of Colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop the administrative model towards excellence of colleges under the office of the vocational education commission with the following objectives: 1. to survey and synthesize the component the administrative model towards excellence of colleges, 2. to create and examine the administrative model towards excellence of colleges and 3. to evaluate the administrative model towards excellence of colleges. Research methods were population of 433 administrators of vocation college under office of the vocational education commission. The number of sample was 400. Research instruments were an interview form, a questionnaire, a connoisseurship record form and a model evaluation form. The statistics used were mean, standard deviation and exploratory factor analysis. The results were indicated below. 1) The findings revealed that there were 7 components, namely (1) learner quality (2) policies, plans and budgets (3) executive Leadership (4) promotion and supervision of learners (5) promotion of administrative systems (6) innovation and technology and (7) personnel development. 2) The administrative model towards excellence of colleges consists of five main components : (1) input (2) process (3) output (4) out come and (5) conditions for success. 3) The result of the evaluation of the model in terms of accuracy, propriety, feasibility, and utility showed that it was rated at high quality.
