Development of a General Education Course Management System Manual For Rajabhat University

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) synthesize a management model for general education courses at Rajabhat Universities and 2) develop a corresponding management manual. The target group consisted of nine experts. Statistical analysis employed mean and standard deviation. The results indicated that: 1) The participatory management model for general education courses comprised three components: (1) general education policy, (2) participatory management, and (3) key performance indicators. Experts evaluated the model's suitability at the highest level (  = 4.69, S.D. = 0.46). 2) The management manual for general education courses in Rajabhat Universities integrates the KPRU MOOC system as a key mechanism for academic management and for promoting personnel engagement. The implementation process follows a four-stage management cycle consisting of Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. The manual consisted of two units: Unit 1 covered the participatory management model, and Unit 2 covered the utilization of the KPRU MOOC system. Experts assessed the manual’s suitability at the highest level (  = 4.69, S.D. = 0.46).
