THE CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ACTIVITIES OF BANGKOK AVIATION FUEL SERVICES PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (BAFS, PLC) AT SUVARNABHUMI AVIATION FUEL STORAGE STATION (BKK-DEPOT)

The purposes of this research are: (1) to study the Corporate Governance of Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Company Limited (BAFS,PLC) through corporate social responsibility activities and (2) to explore people’s opinion toward the company’s activities in the area of Suvarnabhumi Aviation Fuel Storage Station (BKK-Depot). Aviation Fuel Storage Station (BKK-Depot) by performing literature review from research papers, articles, announcements, and related materials and also in-depth interviews. Including field observations from people who live in the neighborhood. The analysis of data by categorizing the average/mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The research finding are as follows: The Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Company Limited (BAFS, PLC) has arranged and conducted the activities according to good governance principles in the company and to society in these aspects (1) the company complies with the principles of Corporate Governance issued by The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and is awarded with SET Award of Honor more than three consecutive years and (2) the company organizes various Corporate Social Responsibility activities such as environmental preservation activities, community health check-up, community cultural occasions attendance, community donation, and firefighting training.
