Abstract

Nowadays, both public and private hospitals attempt using the most up to date technology aiming to improve and increase service sufficiency. Radio Frequency Identification or RFID is considered as a one advanced beneficial tool. However, in Healthcare (Hospital) context, this is still regarded as a new thing processing in the initiative period of using RFID technology.

Based on review of past literature, more than 40 % of technology implementation in Healthcare context has resulted in failure due to a lot of restrictions e.g. technical aspect, budget, human resource, including various hospital standards. These obstructions have acknowledged that it is not easy to simply use the technology. It is essential to aware of many factors in order to achieve the utmost efficiency.

According to studying, it is found that all of three factors include technology, human resource and organization could lead to success in implementing RFID technology. They involve in the preparation process for RFID application in hospitals.
