Creation of Cooperation Mechanisms and Networks to Develop Living Museum Learning Areas to Build Local Economy and Quality of Life in Pak Phun Municipal Area in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province Thailand

This research aimed to create a mechanism for cooperation and a network to develop a living museum learning area to create a local economy and quality of life in Pak Phun municipality, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The key informants were composed of 20 people from local government organizations selected by Purposive Sampling, ten people from establishment selected by Purposive Sampling, five people from educational institutions selected by Purposive Sampling, and five people from a private sector in the area selected by the Snow Ball model. The research employed the qualitative data analysis. The findings showed that the "I-Tao" (elders) mechanism consisted of 1) realizing the needs of network creation, 2) coordination of network departments and organizations, 3) building commitment, 4) sharing ideas and planning the activities, 5) collaboration for activity implementation, 6) network management, 7) relationship development, and maintaining an ongoing relationship and building network. Moreover, the learning area model was created base on four main pillars: public, private, local government, and community sectors, and three powers from government, cooperation, and knowledge.
