การใช้ประโยชน์ และข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้าน: กรณีศึกษาชุมชนสะลวง – ขี้เหล็ก อำเภอแม่ริม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

การศึกษาเชิงผสมผสานนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาการใช้ประโยชน์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้าน 2) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยพยากรณ์การใช้ประโยชน์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้านของประชาชน และ 3) สังเคราะห์ข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้าน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นประชาชนในชุมชนสะลวง – ขี้เหล็ก อำเภอแม่ริม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 301 ครัวเรือน และผู้มีส่วนได้เสีย จำนวน 18 คน รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม การสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่มีโครงสร้าง และการสนทนากลุ่ม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุเชิงเส้น และการวิเคราะห์แบบอุปนัย
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ประชาชนมีการใช้ประโยชน์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้านโดยรวมระดับน้อย (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 1.98 ± 0.45) การรับรู้เกี่ยวกับการใช้ประโยชน์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้านสามารถพยากรณ์การใช้ประโยชน์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้านของประชาชนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (Beta = .265, p - value = 0.000) โดยมีอำนาจพยากรณ์ ร้อยละ 26.7 ทั้งนี้ผู้มีส่วนได้เสียเสนอแนะข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้านโดย 1) การอนุรักษ์พื้นที่แหล่งสมุนไพรพื้นบ้าน 2) การอนุรักษ์ความหลากหลายของชนิดพันธุ์ 3) การถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้กิจกรรมการอนุรักษ์สมุนไพรพื้นบ้าน และ 4) การเพิ่มบทบาทหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง
