This research aims to study the characteristics, effects, and indicate the suggestions for preventing the discrimination against the trans women in Thai society. The research method used was the in-depth interview with the sample groups who experience with the gender discrimination                  in different careers; 1 officer of the civil servant, 3 employees of the private company, and                                 3 freelancers. The results can be concluded that: the discrimination from their family that the parents try to discipline the child to grow up in the male environment, at the school that they have been mocked by friends, and at the workplaces that they have been refused to get employment. The significance is found that: there are strains and stresses occurred to the sample persons which cause the separation from the family, start having the negative attitudes towards the school from being mocked and do not want to go to school, and they are restricted in the positions and the professions in which they are skilled, resulting to abandon the intention of that occupation. The adaptation to discrimination is that: the sample groups choose to separate themselves from the family, being indifferent and choose not to play with male friends rather retaliation by controvert at the school, and tend to choose the freelance jobs. The guidelines for preventing the discrimination is that: the family should have more openness on the gender issues in parenting, give educational support and encouragement. In the aspect of educational institutions, there should be included in the curriculum that the concept of respecting the human rights, and openness to the education for transgender women. At the workplaces, there should be altering attitudes by the executives and the colleagues towards the transgender women.
