This article aims at seeking ways to encourage and develop the English language usage and skills of Ramkhamhaeng University’s faculty members in order to create more academic works and researches. As a result, this will not only bring about more opportunities to one’s professional advancements but also the development of the university. The data collection conducted by the in-depth interview method. The interviewees consist of 15 Ramkhamhaeng University’s faculty members who were/are in the administrative positions. The study reveals the opinions of Ramkhamhaeng University’s executives regarding ways to enhance the faculty members’ English usage and skills in order of their importance as follows: (1) to attend international conferences and seminars as well as to be visiting professors; (2) to further their studies at a higher level; (3) to attain new knowledge; (4) to produce more researches for the benefit of the public; (5) to apply for academic titles and (6) to receive financial reward.
