Main Article Content
Abstract
Abstract
This paper aims to remark María Teresa León, a committed woman who, after many years forgotten behind her husband, Rafael Alberti, has recently gained strength as a key in the “Generación del 27”. Likewise, it is intended to weigh the feminist attitude of the author and the expression in her work of the concerns she had since she was a child. For this reason, an introduction to the aforementioned “Generación del 27” is addressed in these pages in order to understand better the context in which she is born. At the same time, a biographical journey will be carried out that will allow us to understand her most personal and literary facet and thus be able to assess with special attention Memoria de la melancolía, a work written during exile in which she will dump her memories. María Teresa León will serve as an example to understand the memorial and biographical genre that marked a key era in Spanish History and Literature.
