The Study and Synthesis of Elements and the Creation Process of Chinese Extra-Curricular Activities for Kindergarten Students

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) study and synthesize the components of Chinese extra-curricular activities for early childhood students and apply them in practice, and 2) study and synthesize the development process of the Chinese language complementary activities curriculum for early childhood students and put it into practice. This research was conducted on the basis of a qualitative research process. The research sample was, selected by purposive random sampling, The document of 9 experts on the components of curriculum and The document of 7 experts on the development process of curriculum. The data were collected through a structured interview and a data record form. Frequency, percentage, content analysis, and synthesis were used for data analysis.
The results showed that the components of Chinese extra-curricular activities for early childhood students should be embraced: 1) principle, 2) philosophy, 3) vision, 4) purpose, 5) content arrangement format, 6) content and teaching hours, 7) methods of organizing experiences and learning activities, 8) educational experience, 9) media and academic resources, 10) instructional suggestions, 11) instructional strategy, and 12) measurement and evaluation. The process of developing Chinese extracurricular activities for early childhood students should include the following steps: 1) curriculum requirements analysis, 2) setting goals, 3) principle and objective structure analysis, 4) content selection, 5) content collection, 6) learning experience selection, 7) systematizing the learning experience, 8) curriculum planning and preparation, 9) cause implementation, 10) Training courses, 11) training course assessment, and 12) curriculum revisions
