Occupational Skill Development through Sesame Product Project from Local Wisdom for Grade 9 Students in Barn Nai Soi School, Pang Moo, Meaung Mae Hong Son Province

The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the Occupational skills of grade 9 students at Ban Nai Soi School before and after organizing activities for the sesame products project from local wisdom and 2) to study students' satisfaction with the project activities of sesame products from local wisdom. The specific target group is 40 samples. The tools used in the research were knowledge tests, competency in vocational skills, 3 components: 1) management, 2) production process, and 3) marketing and satisfaction assessment of the project activities of sesame products based on local knowledge. The statistics used in the research were mean, standard deviation, and differential testing between two groups of correlated mean groups.
The results showed that before the sesame product project activity from local wisdom, the population group had Occupational skills with an average score of 33.68. However, after the sesame product project activity from local wisdom, the population group had vocational skills with an average score of 65.03, which was statistically significantly higher than before the sesame product project activity from local wisdom at the level of 0.05. In addition, the population had a high level of satisfaction with a mean value of 4.07 (S.D. = 0.74), which is positive satisfaction with the organization of sesame product project activity from local wisdom.
