Abstract

The purposes of this research were the following: 1) To develop podcasts integrated with the Think-Pair-Share method to meet the efficiency criterion of 80/80; 2) to compare students’ literary achievement on the literature “Hen Kae Look” before and after the implementation of learning management using podcasts integrated with the Think-Pair-Share method; and 3) To study the satisfaction of Mathayom 3 students toward learning management using podcasts integrated with h the Think-Pair-Share method. The sample consisted of 20 Mathayom 3/1 students at Nong Phai School under the Royal Patronage of His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch, Phetchabun Province, obtained through cluster random sampling, using the classroom as the unit of sampling. The research design employed was a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research instruments included a 6-episode literature podcast series, lesson plans, a 30-item multiple-choice achievement test, and a 20-item satisfaction rating scale. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, a dependent samples t-test, and the E1/E2 efficiency formula.

The research findings revealed that: The efficiency of the podcasts combined with the Think-Pair-Share method was 98.58/84.17, which was higher than the established 80/80 criterion. The students’ post-test literary achievement scores ( equation= 25.25) were significantly higher than their pre-test scores (equation = 10.30) at the .05 level of statistical significance. The overall satisfaction of students toward the learning management was at the highest level ( equation= 4.94, S.D.= 0.23). This research demonstrates that integrating digital media through podcast creation with the Think-Pair-Share active learning technique can effectively enhance students’ literary achievement and promote positive attitudes toward learning.
